Kingsclere Rear Garden

Designed in collaboration with Tania Brookes Garden Design and now in construction.

Set within a large sloping garden, the design responds to significant level changes following a recent kitchen extension. A series of linked terraces and patios, offer different seating areas to enjoy the sun at various times of day and to help the space flow more naturally from the house into the wider garden.

A striking corten steel water table forms a key feature, bringing gentle movement and the calming sound of running water. Deep terraced borders wrap around the main patio, which will be planted by the client, a keen gardener, allowing them to put their own creative stamp on the scheme.

The result will be a functional yet beautiful outdoor space that feels like an extension of the home - somewhere to relax, entertain and enjoy time in the garden throughout the year.
