Large Terraced Garden, Kingsclere

Designed in collaboration with Tania Brookes Garden Design.

Set within a large sloping garden, the design responds to significant level changes following a recent kitchen extension. A series of linked terraces and patios offer different seating areas to enjoy the sun at various times of day - and allow the space flow more naturally from the house into the wider garden.

A striking corten steel water table forms a key feature, bringing gentle movement and the calming sound of running water. Deep terraced borders wrap around the main patio, planted by the client, a keen gardener.

The result is a functional yet beautiful outdoor space that feels like an extension of the home - somewhere to relax, entertain and enjoy time in the garden throughout the year.
