Hedge End Garden

The brief for this garden was to create 'a cosy sancturary' where the clients could enjoy their outdoor space without feeling overlooked.  The existing patio and retaining wall will remain, but the rest of the garden is having a makeover, providing functional space and visual interest to what is currently a blank canvas, dominated by the tall garage wall at the rear.

 

A beautiful patterned patio is enclosed by painted timber arbour, providing privacy and shade for the garden seating area. The soft grey green colour of the arbour is matched by the newly painted shed and the timber archway, creating cohesion across the garden.  New trees help to screen the boundaries, whilst a multi level planting scheme brings colour, texture and seasonal interest.
